Ikuko Uetani has been with SOAR since 2008. She has led and contributed to both audience and organizational studies. Prior to joining the Smithsonian, she worked in Tokyo as a writer/editor/proofreader; she also taught information technology. Ikuko holds a master’s degree in museum studies and also has a background in textiles and cultural history.
